Ziplines are the new exciting adventure tours that can be found on most of the Hawaiian Islands and mountainous areas on the mainland. They are fun and exciting for all ages. Starting as young as 5 years old and then I recently zip with a lady that was turning 80 years old. Our ziplines on Maui range from 5 lines to 8 lines and take from 2 hours to 4 hours to complete.
One of my favorite ziplines is the North Shore Zipline. This zip line is located on an old Army Camp in Haiku on the North Shore of Maui, beautiful country! It is a Tree-top adventure or called a Canopy Tour. They have built 7 different zip lines that start by climbing a ladder up to the aerial platform and then zipping over the canopy of trees. You reach speeds up to 40 miles an hour. You will still have a few hikes in between some of the trees and a few suspension bridges that are a bit challenging and fun to walk across. There are spectacular North Shore and Ocean Views. At just $119.00 per person plus tax, this Zipline is a great deal!
The Crew that takes you on this adventure really makes this zip line extra special, fun and crazy!! They are really a hoot!! North Shore Zipline also has a photographer that will take pictures of you zipping and then between the lines they take group photos and fun photos of you goofing off!! The cost is around $35 for the cd.
