Try one of our new Restaurants on Maui, with great nightly Hawaiian Music. Located in Azeka’s shopping center in South Maui.

Nalu’s is the Hapa-Hawaiian phase meaning go with the flow. Nulu is also the owner  Ron Panzo’s, Golden retriever’s dog’s name.  The owners of Nalu’s have focused on the fresh Hawaiian Organic approach sourcing the best that the islands should offer by combining local flavors, and the freshest ingredients available from Maui farms and Kauai meats. Their Hawaiian, local to Pacific cuisine is creatively presented on wood slabs. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a wide entrance featuring a priceless Koa wood Outrigger Canoe. Their open doors and windows bring a garden feeling to the interior while the outdoor patio features a delightful colorful decor. Their furnishings feature custom-made wooden tables and seating with art by Sherry Austin adorning the walls. Nalu’s decor was carefully designed by the owners and longtime friends.

I enjoyed a Birthday party the other night there, which was perfect for a big party, especially if you want everyone to pay their own bill. You just go to the counter to order, pay and they have wait help to do the rest. Every plate that came to the table was amazing. My favorite was the Azeka’s Ribs which have been famous for years. The Azeka family has moved to the mainland but shared their secret recipe with Ron. If you like Teriyaki this is a must try. Breakfast is very good with the house specialty being chicken and waffles.

I had the pleasure to hear a very famous musician here in Hawaii by the name of Barry Flanagan. He is well known for being one of Hawaii’s master Slack Key guitarist. He played that night with Eric Gilliom another one of Hawaii’s treasures in the Hawaiian music community. What a fun evening of music.

Nulus will be having dinner shows every Saturday evenings with these two wonderful musicians starting late July 2017. I highly recommend enjoying a great meal and wonderful music coming soon on Saturday nights. If you can’t make it on Saturdays,no worries Nulu’s has Live Hawaiian music every night 7-9pmclip_image004

Go check them out it’s worth it!
