Cafe O’ Lei one of Maui’s favorite restaurants!

Staying in Kihei and don’t know where to cruise for dinner? Allow us to make that decision for you! Café O’Lei is an amazing restaurant located in Kihei. Take a stroll down the beach to watch the sunset and end up at Café O’Lei where you will be pleasantly surprised to find three different menus once inside.

Introducing their brand new Poke bar, where you craft your own poke bowl. First, you are prompted to choose a base of either rice, quinoa, or greens. Next, you choose from all kinds of fresh poke, and finally a flavor. If you like poke, you’ve got to try this place out! Also available is a sushi bar, where your chef makes each roll to-order.

A personal favorite from the dinner menu is the Maui Onion Soup-the chefs have hand-crafted this soup from Maui onions. I have yet to taste another Maui onion dish quite like it. If anything, go for the soup; it’s topped with a fresh pastry baked right on top, you can’t get any better. For your entree, chef usually prepares a fresh fish, but a constant favorite would be the blackened Mahi Mahi. Resting on white rice and slathered in a cream sauce, this fish dish is one of the best I’ve tasted on the island. This dish is topped off with Maui-made mango salsa.

Beware, this dish has a kick to it, but the buttery cream sauce soothes the heat, creating the perfect combination of flavors. Paired with a refreshing glass of white wine makes for a perfect dinner combo. Don’t wait, make your reservation today for this amazing restaurant-also open for lunch
