Te Au Moana Luau is ocean side at the Wailea Marriott
One our favorite Luau’s in south Maui is at the Wailea Marriott.
Click on the Photo tab for Food Photos…
The Wailea Marriott Luau has recently undergone extensive renovations to both the Lu’au Grounds and the Hotel itself.
Guests arriving at the Te Au Moana Lu’au are greeted with a fresh flower lei and a Mait Tai. Wander the Wailea Marriott’s Ocean Front Lu’au Gardens and have your photos taken with pretty Hula Girls. Feel free to participate in the many Cultural Demonstrations. Our favorite is the Coconut Husking demonstration and the Imu Ceremony and don’t forget to get a Polynesian “Tattoo’. Listen to live Hawaiian Music all throughout the evening.
After your welcome Mai Tai reception and Cultural demonstrations, each table will be called to the Hawaiian Dinner Buffet. The dinner menu is quite extensive!
Meat lovers will appreciate the Imu Baked Kalua Pig, Grilled Teriyaki Steaks, Shoyu Chicken, Lomi Lomi Salmon and the Seafood Pasta! While Vegetarian’s and Pescatarian’s will enjoy the many side dishes including Garlic Fried Rice, Molokai Sweet Potatoes w/ a Coconut sauce~my favorite, Stir Fry Vegetables, Macaroni Salad, a Pineapple Cole Slaw, Tossed Kula Green Salad and everyone’s favorite…Poi! * Insiders Tip: the Poi goes with the Pig, even though it is not at the end of the buffet…
What could be better than dining Ocean side, watching the sun set into the ocean and listening to live Hawaiian music with a Mai Tai in hand? A Hula Show of course! The Wailea Marriott & Tihati has revamped their already popular Hula Show, and it is now one of the best Hula shows in Hawaii! The Polynesian Hula dancing and Hawaiian Fire Knife Dance will transport you back to another time on our beautiful Island of Maui!
Live Hawaiian entertainment during the evening, fresh flower lei greeting (seasonal) with photo opportunities~ocean side, arts & crafts, cultural demonstrations including the popular Imu ceremony & coconut husking. All you can eat Hawaiian buffet; all you can drink open (free) bar, and Hula show. Also included is complimentary parking, & the Wailea Marriott is Handicap accessible.
