ROCK A HULA OAHU

Legends ROCK-A-HULA is an ideal way to dine in style with your sweetheart. Dine in the incredible Stateside VIP section and savor the delectable steak and seafood meal with the best show seats in the house.

The 75-minute show was specifically developed for Hawaii and has been artistically infused with Hawaiian song and dance that underscores the island connections of the original artists. The concert begins with a huge, 42-foot tall, 3-screen visual experience that “lands” the audience in Hawaii where they are greeted by ancient Hawaiian chants and kahiko hula.

During the show, historic Hawaiian performances of the original artists are recreated through the magic of computerized projections of actual concert footage blended with live, on-stage singing and dancing by the tribute artists and a dozen professional dancers. The concert concludes as the audience joins in singing Aloha ‘Oe, the most beloved of all Hawaiian songs, composed by Princess Lili‘uokalani

The show’s name, “ROCK-A-HULA!” says it all. It’s taken from the Elvis hit song, Rock-A-Hula Baby, written by Ben Weisman, Fred Wise, and Dolores Fuller, and performed by Elvis in the 1962 movie, Blue Hawaii. The song’s mixed genre of rock and roll and Hawaiian folk captures the essence of Legends in Concert Waikiki.

Guests at Legends frequently remark how “realistic” the show is, and how the tribute artists are transformed into the original artists before them during the 75-minute show. This intriguing effect is the result of a fun-loving audience responding to the fruits of our artists devoting thousands of hours to studying video and audio recordings of original artist performances. Without question, Legends performers and technical team members seek authenticity in every aspect of the concert!

Guests enjoy our exclusive VIP access to the VIP Lounge where they will enjoy a welcome Blue Hawaii Mai Tai. Guests next visit the opulent Green Room where they are served Green “Champagne” and Posh Hawaiian Pupu’s (hor’s d’ oeuvres) as they await a special visit to the room by one of the performing Legends. A backstage tour amidst the bustling pre-show excitement provided before dinner.
Guests are seated at private, front row, stageside tables for their 4-course steak and seafood dinner, staring: Maine Lobster and ending with a decadent Lava Flow Dessert of warm molten chocolate cake with macadamia nut ice cream and raspberry sauce! After the show, there’s a meet-and-greet session with the artists.

Over 20 tasty Hawaiian items are featured in the impressive buffet that has been winning the praise of guests since the show’s opening. Guests are welcomed with a Blue Hawaiian Mai Tai and are escorted to our upscale Hawaiian buffet. Live Hawaiian music and hula dancer entertain guests during dinner and are happy to take requests. Premier seating in the theater.  After the show, there’s a meet-and-greet session with the artists.  Adult $113, Child $68. Guests should arrive at 6:30 p.m.

Stage side VIP Dinner & Show

Guests are escorted to their stage side tables for the same dinner served to Green Room guests: Delicious 4-course steak and seafood dinner, Maine Lobster with Rainbow Salad of local baby greens, Heart of Palm, yellow beets, Kamuela tomatoes and cucumbers with passion fruit “champagne” dressing; Grilled Tenderloin Steak and Atlantic Salmon with sautéed fresh market vegetables and black truffle mashed potato; Lava Flow Dessert of warm molten chocolate cake with macadamia nut ice cream and raspberry sauce. Guests are welcomed with a Blue Hawaiian Mai Tai and are escorted to our upscale Hawaiian buffet which includesRoast Beef Carving Station with gourmet Hawaiian sea salts; huli huli chicken; kalua Pork with cabbage; Pacific white fish with coconut curry sauce; lomilomi salmon; Hawaiian greens medley;  long rice salad; tofu poke; duo of sweet potatoes; dessert station of cakes, sorbet, ice cream, cookies and candies; and much more. Served with taro roll, sweet butter, coffee and tea.
