The ride is in the West Maui Mountains. Expect to see Cows, Horses, Peacocks, and the occasional wild Pig (Pua’a in Hawaiian). Your Maui ATV Tour takes you up to 1800 feet elevation with panoramic ocean views of Lahaina and the Islands of Lana’i and Molokai! On the back side of Maui on a clear day, you can see the Big Island of Hawaii.
Ride solo for the ultimate thrill! ($375.) Shared ATVs allow four people, the Driver is 204.00 and the adult passenger is 189.00 There is time along the course to trade places if you choose. Drivers must be 16 years old with a Driver’s License. Children ages 5-12 may ride along. How dirty you get depends on how you choose to drive!
There are some tough uphill switchbacks, and rutted boulder trails, and the further you go up, the greener and muddier it gets! The West Maui views are truly insane with the Pacific Ocean on one side and the West Maui Mountain Valleys on the other. You will stop at the top for awesome views
You will not forget this experience! Yes, you will get very dirty! Wear old clothes and shoes! Bring extra towels and a change of clothes for the car ride home.
Back Side of Maui. This is definitely an off-road adventure! On a 5,000-acre working cattle ranch, the trails go up to 2,000 feet above sea level offering beautiful views and rugged terrains. The experience includes bamboo forest runs, mud, hill climbs, river crossings, jungle canopy, forest areas, tight turns, as well as some straightaways to drive a little faster. Following an orientation, all drivers must successfully drive a proficiency course. If multiple drivers are in one vehicle there are opportunities to switch off driving throughout the tour as there are 3 to 4 stops along the way for picture taking and resting.
