Spinner Dolphins like to come into the Hulopo’e Bay to swim and frolic. With its low-key lifestyle (no traffic lights or chain businesses), this lovely island makes for a great day trip from Maui.
Ah, the Island of Lana’i is one of our favorite places to visit! The Island of Lana’i was once known as the Pineapple Isle; now it is known as the “luxury Isle”…a vacation getaway for the Rich and Famous!

It is no wonder Lana’i, Hawaii, is such a popular destination with its 1,000 ft. Sea Cliffs, Blowholes, Lava Caves, and Arches, not to mention the beautiful secluded Beach that offers fabulous Snorkeling.  The ocean water on the backside of Lana’i is that gorgeous cobalt Blue color that I can never get enough of…

Lana’i is a small island with only a few roads. Most of the roads are unpaved, which is why renting a Jeep on Lanai is so popular.  You can make a reservation for one of our Ferry packages and get a Jeep for the day to explore this remote island paradise; we also have the 4×4 Trekker Tours with local guides, to make the most of your time and experience.

In addition to the 1 small town in Lana’i (Lana’i City), you can visit the famous “Garden of the Gods”, and take a drive down to Shipwreck Beach, where there is an old Ship from the last World War and a nice secluded beach. Bring a Picnic and you can access any number of secluded beaches on Lana’i or visit Hulopoe Bay Beach Park for one of the nicest settings in all of Hawaii.

A visit to Hulopoe Beach Park and Manele Bay offers spectacular Scenery and Rock formations, Tide Pools, and Lava Arches. There is really good snorkeling off the beach or in the huge tide pool!

Take a walk up to the 4 Seasons Manele Bay Hotel and have a Hawaiian Maitai as you take in that incredible 5-star view!
