Bike Down Haleakala

The adventure of biking down Haleakala for a day trip is above the clouds.  You will take in awe-inspiring views from the rim of Haleakala’s massive volcanic crater. Your tour guide will then drive you down to the 6500-foot level. After a safety orientation and bike/gear fitting, you’re ready to roll—down the planet’s grandest coaster—through over 200 twists and turns and countless visual wonders. There are many stops along the way to view and photograph the incredible scenery and learn about Haleakala’s history and lore. This is a day trip, not sunrise

This is the bike ride of your lifetime, we had a blast! Cruising down through Kula, Makawao, and Haiku  You still want to dress in layers and wear tennis shoes and socks as it is cold on top of the Volcano! Don’t forget your sunglasses and camera too!

After viewing the crater they will bring you down to the 6500-foot level to begin your self-guided tour back to their store in Haiku. So stop and take in all the scenery at your own pace. Stop in Makawao for lunch at all the great eateries and cruise through all the cute stores.
