For those who have already experienced Haleakala National Park or prefer to just go cruising down the slopes and switchbacks of the mountain, our Express Tour is the best bet. Guests begin their self-guided tour from the 6,500 ft. level just outside of the Haleakala National Park entrance.
There is no Hotel pick up on this tour you will drive to their store in Haiku.
You will be dropped off at the 6500-foot level and then begin your descent. You have a few more options when you bike on your own. You can stop and shop in Makawao town or have a picnic along the way or stop in one of the many restaurants in Makawao Town. Then bike back to their store in Haiku.
The scenery along the way is stunning!
