Whale Watching Aboard Sail Maui

Sail Maui Charters out of Maalaea harbor spots humpbacks on all of our trips during the winter, but this season we’re offering an exciting new opportunity to sail with the whales. We’ll embark from Māʻalaea Harbor and set sail in mid-day. Join the Captain and Crew in keeping a lookout and refresh with a variety of beverages, including wine and local beer. This trip is exclusively sailing, so relax onboard without the drone of a motor, and we’ll head to wherever the whales may be!

Sailing out of Māʻalaea can be quite exhilarating, so while we will do our best to get as close to the humpbacks as we are able in the breeze, this trip can be more of an adventure than a mellow tour if the winds are up. Limited to 25 passengers, making for a much better viewing experience.
