Bottom Fish & Sport Fish Combo Excursion:

Sport Fish out to the bottom fishing grounds, giving you an excellent chance at catching the bigger Fish along the way.

It typically takes about an hour to reach some of the most productive spots, and they may fish a few different locations on any given trip.

Frequently caught species of fish include many varieties of snappers, trevallys, wrasses, as well as sea bass and the occasional shark. Bottom fishing anglers are invited to keep their catch. You will even be given a few tips on how best to prepare it! On the way to and from our bottom fishing destinations, we high-speed troll for big game to make the most of our running time. By doing this, we have a chance of hooking up to any or all of the classic big game trophy fish such as marlin, yellowfin and skipjack tuna, mahi mahi, and ono.

Any bottomfishing anglers who are into experiencing the thrill of big game fishing and the reward of mounting their catch are encouraged to participate at no additional cost.

Sport Fishing

A typical day of big game trophy sportfishing aboard Strike Zone has you departing promptly at 6:30am from Slip # 64 at Maalaea Harbor and returning at 12:30pm. Depending upon the weather conditions and the species recently being caught, the boat usually high speed trolls the offshore waters of Maui, Lanai and Kahoolawe as the captain and crew search for signs of fish. On any given day it is possible to encounter any or all of the classic big game trophy fish including Pacific Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin, Shortbilled spearfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Mahi Mahi and Ono. Includes a light lunch on board.
