Piiholo Stables
Description:

Piiholo Ranch borders the 'Paniolo Town' of Makawao and lies at the edge of an Upcountry rain forest. Owned and operated by Peter Baldwin and his family, Piiholo is a working cattle ranch filled with the flora and fauna of Hawaiiis native eco-systems. Piiholo Ranch provides a horseback riding adventure with plenty of open space to move freely and view spectacular sights from the 2000-foot elevation of Haleakala. Rides are limited to six people to ensure that guests have a quality adventure and can easily talk one-on-one with the guides.

This 3.5-hour adventure roams around the ranch lands, from the corral across pastures to Twin Koas for a picnic lunch, and up to Piiholo Hill. Lunch is at a secluded, shady spot set up on a picnic table next to our authentic Tipi. Featured are a wide selection of deli meats on fresh-baked sandwich breads with crisp lettuce, sprouts, tomatoes and onions, and your choice of condiments. Fruit juices, bottled water and sodas are included as well as crunchy snacks, fresh fruit and cookies.

For anyone over the age of 8 years old.
