Transportation in Hawaii

A lot of travelers, especially those staying in the luxury hotels prefer not to drive while on vacation for one reason or another. We have Airport Shuttles on all of the major Hawaiian Islands, as well as  Limos, Taxi's and Rental Cars. 

In Honolulu/Waikiki most all Hawaiian Tour companies offer complimentary Hotel pick up/drop off service, while on the outer Islands : Maui, Kauai & Hawaii (Big Island) only a few Hawaiian tours will pick you up.


We do not recommend renting a car for more than a day or 2 in Honolulu/Waikiki as it has very limited parking, and can be expensive.

While visiting Maui, Kauai & Hawaii (Big Island) we recommend renting a car for flexibility & ease. 


Hawaii currently has 2 Ferries operating between the Islands: Maui-Lana'i and Maui-Moloka'i; see our tour pages for tickets.

There are 2 Airlines flying between the  Major Hawaiian Islands (Hawaiian & GO!).

Getting around the Private Island of Lana'i
