This hugely popular event has been nick named the "Mardi Gras of he Pacific" and sees around 20,000-30,000 people, most in Costumes.

If you are staying in Kihei-Wailea or Paia-Upcountry avoid Highway Gremlins and ghoulish Traffic to and from Lahaina, and take one of several Halloween Party boats up to Lahaina.
